Quai de Seine area of Melun, very quiet with few fellow sailors...

La Marquise" is the former seaman's flat on this barge, which sailed the rivers and canals of France for decades before being converted into a houseboat. A private staircase leads up to a private terrace (with sun loungers and dining table) and into the accommodation via the cockpit and a small staircase (a little steep, ladder-style). The lounge has a view of the Seine and, in addition to a television, a pull-out sofa that converts into a comfortable double bed. Down another flight of stairs, you reach the fully equipped kitchen, which leads to the sailor's bedroom with its built-in bed. The bedroom has a shower, washbasin and toilet (no partition).

Facilities: Flat-screen TV (Netflix, PrimeVideo, and other channels), Wi-fi, Wardrobe, Lounge, Bathroom in bedroom with shower and toilet

Ideally suited to a couple but can sleep 3 people.

Not recommended for children under 12 as there are no railings. Please note that the ceiling in the living room will be a little low for people over 1m85.
